The path

From economics
to landscape.

I've been lucky enough to do what I love for over ten years. My first degree was in economics — but soon after graduating I realised I didn't want to spend my life balancing accounts and audits.

So I changed direction. In 2007 I enrolled at MARHI, the Moscow Architectural Institute, to study architecture, and spent several formative years at the city's Main Architectural and Planning Department — where I found that planning, and how places are shaped, interested me more than anything else.

In 2022 I completed professional retraining and earned a diploma in landscape design. I've kept learning ever since, from colleagues and courses: landscaping is a field you can study endlessly, because the craft and the trends keep moving — and so do I.
