From sketch
to realization.
Three ways to work with me — design, visualization and realization. Most projects begin at the drawing and stay through to the build.
Landscape design
I survey the site, listen to how you want to live in it, and resolve everything on paper — levels, circulation, hardscape, water and a planting palette tuned to the place. You receive a masterplan, sections and working drawings before anything is built.
- Site survey & analysis
- Concept & masterplan
- Planting, light & water
- Working drawings
Visualization & sketches
Before a thing is built, you get to see it. Quick hand sketches communicate the concept and the key views of the site; photoreal 3D shows the finished space in light and season — so decisions are made with confidence.
- Concept sketches
- Photoreal 3D views
- Key viewpoints
- Material & mood boards
Realization & supervision
I stay with the project on site — retaining walls, drainage, paths and planting — so the built result matches the drawing. Where you already have a contractor, I can work to their programme as author supervisor.
- Construction drawings
- Author supervision
- Planting & setting out
- Handover
A drawing-first process.
- 01Consultation
We talk through the site and how you want to use it. No charge, no obligation.
- 02Survey & concept
Measured survey, site analysis and a first concept — the big moves, on paper.
- 03Masterplan & drawings
The resolved plan and the working drawings: levels, hardscape, planting, water and light.
- 04Visualization
Sketches and photoreal 3D, so you can see and sign off the design before any build.
- 05Realization
On site through construction as author supervisor, all the way to handover.
Who I work with.
Private gardens and estates where the owner cares how a place feels — and is happy to let the design lead. I take a small number of projects at a time, so each gets proper attention.
