A large plot with complex terrain and mature forest trees that had to be preserved. The task was to thread a network of roads and paths through what was already there, and to carve out places to rest and spend time — without losing the woodland that made the site worth keeping.
The routes follow the grade and the clearings become rooms: the existing trees set the plan, rather than the other way around.
